How is the beef processed?

The beef is available by the whole, half, or quarter (by order) and on the farm as cuts. The beef is butchered at West Michigan Beef, then sent to Byron Center Meats where it will be cut, wrapped, and frozen according to your desires. Up to 70% of the meat can be in steaks and roasts!

How is the beef available?

Cuts: Available in the Farm Store
A Quarter: 150lbs average hanging weight (processing cost averages $75) ending up with ~100lbs to take home. Approximate total cost: $635.
A Half: 300lbs average hanging weight (processing cost averages $150) ending up with about 200lbs to take home. Approximate total cost: $1275.
A Whole Beef: 600lbs average hanging weight (processing cost averages $300) ending up with about 400 lbs to take home. Approximate total cost: $2550.
